A good buyer’s agent works to meet your needs and wants. Use these to help you find the agent that’s right for you.
1. Which do you prefer to work with — buyers or sellers — and why ?
2. Do you work full time as an agent? If not, why not ?
3. How many buyers are you presently working with? Are you busy ?
4. How long have you been a real estate agent ?
5. Are you well-acquainted with the area where I plan to look for a home ?
6. What is the average house price for the area over the past year ?
7. Is the average price of the homes you deal with significantly above or below my budget ?
8. How many sales have you been involved with in the past year ?
9. Can you give me three references of buyers you have worked with ?
10. Do you arrange the appraisal, inspection and house insurance ?
11. Do you handle the closing ?
12. Do you have any professional designations, such as GRI (Graduate of the
REALTORS Institute) or CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) ?
