Redwood Systems Launches Revolutionary New Lighting Architecture

Redwood Systems, a manufacturer of network-based lighting power and control systems, has officially launched its pioneering lighting system that fuses intelligent control, communications, sensors, and power delivery into a single, networked system. This solution transforms the way businesses power and control lighting to reduce energy costs and improve building performance. The platform, which can operate with both groundbreaking LED technology and traditional fluorescent and halogen technology, can save up to 75 percent of energy used to light a typical building.

The company’s founders, who commercialized networking technologies for Cisco Systems, leveraged their knowledge of computer networking to develop this network-based energy efficiency solution. Several key techniques and aspects of internet working that made it successful in businesses large and small — simplicity, speed, reliability, scalability, and robust data communications — can now be applied to a building’s lights to make them energy optimized, easier to manage and maintain, and vastly more flexible than lights on electric wiring.

Subterranean Mansion with indoor water slides for Sale

Subterranean Mansion
Lovely Listing recently added photos of this Subterranean Mansion which is presently said to be up for sale in the UK. This futuristic house has some really odd looking plumbing work, there are things such as a water slide from some other room (seen in the middle photo) to the main pool, no need to walk to your pool, when you can slide instead and the house is actually underground.

This surely is the most daring and innovative house ever built and it won’t be an overstatement if we call it the house of your dreams. The architect really deserves a pat on the back, it looks really good. The property is located in Bowdon, Cheshire and is up for grabs if you can come up with the £2,000,000 asking price.
